Al Dente – an ideal consistency for pasta and involves brief cooking time. The name Al dente has its origins in Italian "to the tooth”.

Opening its door since March 2014, Al Dente has been a bustling and friendly neighborhood Italian restaurant frequented by steady base of regulars patronizing it. Located at Taman Merdeka Permai, Melaka, Al Dente can be easily spotted when one drives around the area.
Indulge yourself with the romance of Homey themed décor and a touch of beautiful Italian style inside Al Dente Restaurant, together with a fanciful alfresco restaurant-front. The typical interior is styled with arranged cement, rendered walls etc. giving it an unfinished touch with edgy chic. Chef Lim Wei Chun is the owner of Al Dente Restaurant, bringing along with him a persevering 15 years of dedication and enthusiasm in culinary. His expertise and passion lies profoundly in the modern Italian inspired cuisines where he observed and learned from many chefs that hail from other part of the globe.
The variety of fine Italian gourmets and recipes – the likes of Funghi Trifolati, Spagheti Aragusta, Risotto De Mare, Filetto Di Manzo, Seafood Lobster and Crispy Duck are dubbed his signature dishes. Al Dente Restaurant also serves other popular European and Asian fusion delicacies for guests to consider as alternatives.
